I just don't get...
 

There must be things in your life that you just don't get. Things that you don't understand why anyone else would like or want to do. So put yours below.

I'll start off with cricket. Whilst I can appreciate that it's exciting being in bat, ensuring you don't get hit by the ball being chucked at you at 100mph, at all other times it's deathly boring. And the lack of gamesmanship - sledging (whilst can be quite witty), refusing to walk etc, man, it seems like a waste of a few days to me. 20/20 is less dull but really an attempt to make it exciting - even the people who run the sport realise it's dull.

Actually since it's my thread, I'm going to have 2.
My second one is rhubarb. I think I was put off by being fed stewed rhubarb when I was very young which was made with no sugar at all. Mum would say "mmm, this is delicious" whereas the rest of the family would find their faces screwing up involuntarily. And I'm sure it was this that caused my oesophagus so much damage, pain and requiring surgery in later life...

I don't get dressing as a goth, covering yourself in tattoos or piercings and saying it is because you don't want to conform and you want to be original

If you want to be so original, do something original...don't do the same thing that everyone else that wants to be original does.

Caveat...aimed at the people doing this who say it is for the reasons above. Goths, tattooed and pierced people that do it just because...all power to you.
