Identify this engine noise.

Loudish rattle when revved
Sounds like the bottom of the exhaust rather than engine
Sv650s sk3 32225 miles
Any ideas

Exhaust or cam chain?

We'll need a few more clues before any realistic estimation can be made.
Put a video on YouTube perhaps?

figured out what it was, most dumb thing ever to miss. there is a cover on the exhaust at the bottom, and its snapped, so now there is a little bit of meta vibrating.
