film editing
morning all,
so i've just taken delivery or a new laptop and a gopro but im just wondering what software does everyone use to edit their videos? i have no idea which one to use as there are so many, any ideas? cheers |
Re: film editing
I use Pinnacle Studio 16. It seems pretty much faultless (at least for the way I'm using it), does multi-track editing in 2D and 3D, and it's reasonably cheap at about sixty quid.

Re: film editing
I use Sony Vegas 10, which I got, ahem, yeh you guessed it :D Very in depth, I don't know what half the things do, but its pretty easy to get your head round with a few youtube tutorials,

Re: film editing
Cyberlink PowerDirector 10. Same class as the other two mentioned above! I think it's horses for courses. I've not had any problems with it. Seems stable and plenty of features. Not too difficult to pick up either. Downloadable custom plugsin, transitions etc. as it has it's own scripting language.

Re: film editing
I just send my footage to Fallout who then does nothing with it. Seems to work fine for me.

Re: film editing
Mark is taking out of his behind. He sent me some crap quality footage and it did feature in the AR Promo, so he can suck my film reel!
