z750e project trundles onward. Slowly...

Lovely work done by a mate of a mate fitting a Zephyr rear wheel into the (possibly) JMC swingarm. He also mated the ZX9R caliper to the wheel spindle and waisted the torque arm so it doesn't rub on the tyre. Or vice versa.

Front end is also Zephyr. Progress ground to a halt when it became obvious my plans regarding the headlight and clocks would look ugly and bodged. Now awaiting new bits and the courage to attack the wiring loom.

Anybody able to recommend a good book on bike wiring?

At least the offset front sprocket has arrived and lines up perfectly.

Those ugly shocks will have to go too. Two steps forward and the plans have to evolve quickly or it will be more than one step back.

Good job I haven't got a dealine on this or I'd be sweating. Colour scheme is constantly evolving too!

Thanks,

Mark

Looking good!

I think that swingarm is a Metmachex.

Metmachex? That's a blast from the past. Do they still exist?

Thanks,

Mark

Yep! That looks like what I've got.

I wonder if I can get some new adjuster inserts...

Hmm.
