sv1000 fairing on sv650 ?
 

If I were to replace the right panel would it fit?

I have heard/read that they require a different fitting kit....

so, are the holes in the same places? would it be a direct replacement fit?

main thing is they are the same size I guess too ...

i know that the sv1000 has a larger water pump so the sv650 right side fairing wont fit...
but the other way round, will the right sv1000 fit the sv650 (right still, just thought I would say that)

Well someone must know, there is a right fairing on eBay buy it now £30 + p&p (bargain if you ask me!!)

So if a 1000 fairing will fit the same on the 650 I'm gonna buy it, but don't want to waste money if it ain't gonna fit...

I would guess you've almost answered your own question.
If the 650 wont work on the 1000 purely because of the water pump, won't the 1000 fit on the 650 just with a bit of a gap behind it where the other water pump 'should' be?

well that was my thinking... but there must be someone on here to confirm if the existing mounting kit on the 650 works for the 1000 or if it needs some jiggery pokery... or if it just looks odd because of the water pump etc...
