Road Legal dirt bike
 

Looking for a road legal dirt bike mainly for at the farm / getting to and from it this winter.

Nothing fancy, budget around £500 mark. Needs to be running.

Haha, I know. Having a gander around there isn't anything.

But thought i'd try my luck.... need something that can handle the winter!

Jeez £500 you've got no chance.

Aim for £700 - £800 but at that price its gonna need some work

There was a Honda CRM on gumtree in bits in Cumbria he was asking £500 but it was missing some bits, looking at the pictures it was deffo missing the carb.

That was about 3 weeks ago but I doubt anyone would have bought it

Just looked another CRM in Cambridge for £550

Mate who has a garage has lots of these rusting in bits where people have brought them in with knackered engines, snapped frames and stuff thats just fallen off.

They expect them to be pence to fix when they find it costs money they just leave them and they find there way onto the scrap pile

I think what you need to realise that if you buy say a Honda CRM for £800 it will always be worth £800 or so. If you buy some Chinese pit bike crap and pay £400 in two years time it will be worth nothing.
