Making pointy louder.

I already have an after market danmoto on my pointy sv. But I'm wondering how can i make my bike sound louder, especially lower down.

Could i remove the cat?

Just take the end can completely off. Much louder.

But that is louder.

What's stopping you getting a IL4 600?

Re: Making pointy louder.

sv650 cost me like 2500 pounds alone to insure TPO which is a pain, the only other bike I could insure would be the xj6, other fully faired 250cc/ 300cc and 400cc/600cc are even more expensive.
The joys of being 18 in south london :D.

Just take the airbox lid off for maximum induction effect. You'll need to take the foil off from under the tank though to stop it getting sucked into the engine.

Saw this done on here recently. Half a trees worth of leaves and crap had gotten in there and was blocking the filter.

Mine's been off since I got the bike, never had any problems at all.
