Everyone please be careful.
Yesterday afternoon I very closely witnessed a crash. The bike was being ridden within the speed limit, in a careful and seemingly experienced manner. It was possibly just a momentary lapse of concentration, even though I watched it happen I can't explain.
It was obvious that the injuries suffered were extremely serious, and despite the first aid I could offer the rider died, and I can't express how much I hope that those few minutes were even slightly eased by the hopelessly little that I could do. So everyone please keep your wits about you, it's impossible to describe just how quickly things can go from good to bad. RIP chap. |
Re: Everyone please be careful.
That sucks mate :(
You did well to stay calm and try to assist, not sure I could do it. RIP to the rider. |
Re: Everyone please be careful.
Timely reminder. Thoughts go out to the family and to you Ian. Good effort in trying AND having the knowledge and where with all in that situation.

Sorry to hear about that Ian, I'm sure your help and level head was very much appreciated by all. As you say, it only takes one moment, we're not cats.

Very sad news, I'm sure you did everything you could Sid and just by being there would have given the chap comfort till he passed.
