Euro to flat beam headlight mod. Curvy
Took my curvy apart last night to mod my euro spec headlight.
Have no pictures but now have flat beam from my projector instead of a left hand flick :) |

And how did you do it?

Re: Euro light mod
I was thinking of taking pics but the kids where under the feet.
Heated the light in the oven for 3 mins at gas mark 2 Pried it open with a large flat screwdriver Unscrewed the 2 Phillips screws holding on a pivot point Unscrewed the adjustment screws to release the projector The lightbulb housing is held on by the casting version of plug welding. I filed this down the pried it off with a small flat headed screwdriver I used some aluminium can to make the blanking plate. I drilled through that and the casting with a 3mm metal bit. That was screwed in place with a screw. To reattach the reflector I drilled it out to 3mm and then used screws to hold it in. I then tested the light on the bike and got a flat beam just need to see if it passes an MOT |
