Borrow a drill

need to fit another ground anchor (for obvious reasons) and need the use of either a large hammer drill or SDS with a 10mm bit I can borrow for a hour or two ? mine gave up the ghost today, funds being tight just now I can't afford to replace it so on the scrounge, pretty please...

Cheers Mark.

wish I could help mark, but I don't really have a clue as to what tool you're after, so I think most likely that I don't have it! lol. plus you'd have to come n get it from me too now :( sorry.

I doubt you'd have one Chris, it's mainly for drilling into masonry, but that doesn't preclude me dropping by, I'll give you a call at some point.

whereabouts are you? I've a decent large 2ft long masonry bit somewhere. And a drill to go with it.

Now if you needed a huge, dirty, stinky disc cutter that will.cut a whole straight through a wall I could help as Mr LPH appears to have left one in the lounge. Hope you get it all sorted Mark, maybe link the chain to the mains 5 seconds after you lock.the bike up.

Mark, If you are going to need one in the future anyway then Aldi or Lidl sell a useable 240v SDS drill with bits for under £40. I've had one for years and it's been perfectly decent both as a drill and a mini-kango. Unfortunately it's currently on loan to my Dad in Cornwall.

I'm sure I saw it on offer again recently so they may still have them in stock. May work out cheaper than fuel for a long journey to go and borrow one.

Shame you've already got this sorted. I hear Sid Squid likes to lend tools out.
