Copper washer size for caliper banjo bolts

Hello!

Quick question...

I'm soon to be taking the calipers off the bike (pointy sv650s) in order to replace the seals. I'll be replacing the copper crush washers around the banjo bolts too (I hear this is good to do). The only thing I'm unsure on is what size copper washer I'll need... There are a list of sizes listed on the HEL site shop (the lines I have are HEL), does anyone know what size i'll need?

Here's the link to the shop where a list of sizes is available in the 'Size' field on the right: http://www.helperformance.com/hel-co...sh-washer.html

your better getting them at a factors or ebay as you have to buy 50 from Hellish

I reuse them and have never had a problem. I clean them off well, then give them a quick scuff on some 400 grit sandpaper laid on a piece of plate glass.
I am cheap (frugal?), but this is more a matter of too lazy (busy?) to go buy new ones.

Likewise, except I don't do anything to them.

I can't really justify why I wanted to buy new ones, I guess with paying for new seals, pads etc I figured I may as well replace the copper washers too.

I guess if you were really fussy you'd anneal the old ones before re-using, like we used to do with copper head gaskets.

they are pennies and for the peace of mind why not replace them just like sump plug washers.

My view is you're as likely to pick a bad one out of the box. What about if you need to bleed a system via the banjos... oh... cracked it off... better replace that!
