New bike time
Right oh might org.
I haven't had a bike since February!! Longest year of my life. Budget £2500 What to get?? Sv hurt my back, so thinking not so sports bikes. Looking at Z750 and Er6 at moment. Any suggestions? |
Re: New bike time
First question: What do you want the bike for? Touring, weekend blast, knee down, 2 up . . . .
Yes, most bikes will do all that with a compromise in each area. May as well get one that is tailored to your 'spec' before it before buying. |
Re: New bike time
on the budget the z750 you'd be looking at is pants IMO, I had ago on one and found the suspension just as crappy as the SV's and underpowered.
That was just my opinion though. |
Re: New bike time
What the gsx650f's like?
Don't know what type of bike I want. It'll be mainly for ride outs, fun. Maybe odd trip to Cornwall and occasional commute on sunny days to college. As I've got my car for cold wet weather. |

Re: New bike time
How about the Triumph TT600? 108 bhp, 155 mph, great brakes and handling!

Re: New bike time
Too old and ugly...
Like newer bikes. The fz6 look good. Too many choices |
Re: New bike time
Dunno if your budget could get you a triumph street triple, great little bike and pretty quick too.
Versys are good budget bikes too, nice riding position so be better for your back. |
