SV 650 4 degree advance
Bought a couple of SV650 4 degree advance woodruff keys a year or so ago and never fitted them.
Supposed to improve throttle response and add a couple of bhp, I believe JHS knock these out at £25 a pop Haven't got an SV now so up for sale. They fit Curvys and Pointys £12 each inc postage |

It means the alternator rotor (also ignition signal generator) sits 4 degrees further advanced, it's a stepped Woodruff key, I'm told this is a common tweak in karts. Anyway it gives you a dollop of bottom end, see the red and blue torque traces for a stock (and rather weedy) 1999 SV650:

Thanks for the info I wouldnt need that on my 2009 twin spark would I or would it still male a difference?

Dunno to be honest. JHS sell them too ,you could ring them and ask.

JHS Racing, they specialise in SV650 minitwins and supertwins amongst other things.
