Camera advice
I have quite an old camera which I'm thinking of replacing.
I basically like taking photos of buildings and bugs, so plenty of close up action on the bugs. Seen a camera from panasonic which gas a good zoom but I'm not sure how good that would be at the really detailed photos of beetles etc. I wanna be able to tell if they're male or female! http://www.panasonic.com/uk/consumer...mc-tz60eb.html Money isn't too much of a problem but I don't want a lot of facing - something that will fit in my pocket. Can anyone advise please, or even tell me what I need to look for to determine whether a camera would suit my needs? Someone told me a long time ago that a wide angle function often gives the best zoom features but I don't understand why. Thanks |
Re: Camera advice
I have the TZ40 and haven't been able find a way to get fly's eye level of detail type macro pictures. So you may be disappointed.

Re: Camera advice
The Canon s95 or s110 are both small and do a very good macro photos. Not used them myself, but they review well.
