Re: tank pads
Warm it up with a hairdryer first, then hold it in place as the glue cools and sticks. Always worked for me.

Re: tank pads
Before you stick you pad to the tank make sure tank is clean and dry and also free of any grease or oil. As TOMOR says apply tank pad when it's warm help glue adear..

Re: Which tank pad?
I use a Lethal Threat tank pad purchased from E-bay. To fit it I cleaned the tank, then wiped it over with an alcohol wipe. I then warmed the sticker with a hair drier until it was soft and pliable and fitted it on the tank. Moving it about was simple because it was still soft and warm, but once it was in the final position I let it cool and it has been stuck firm ever since.
