You know how as a kid you get excited before Christmas and you would be all jittery counting down the days until...

Well I feel like that at the moment. Two weeks to go until I get to play with my bits and bobs and it is dragging so slowly by! Two whole cold dark weeks and then I can start looking for bits to play with on my SV, so I have started by polishing bits and repainting duff bits. The formerly glittery grey side panels are now dark grey gloss and I have some lovely pretty skulls to go on too.

How am I going to survive two weeks feeling like this, imagine all of your birthdays since age three, combined with every Christmas up to the age that socks started to become the items on the wishlist and that is how I feel right now. My main hope is that my bike will look all sparkly and lovely when I am done so I can actually ride the damn thing and not just look at it.

So what is the big event that I am so excited about? The clocks go forwards at the end of the month and I get to start work on my bike project once again. :smt041

The events are not connected, but the thought of doing real mechanical stuff to my bike is more attractive to me than a virgin Nun who has just discovered PVC, leather ankle cuffs and wants to play! :smt084
