New kid on the block

Hi boy and girls
Just wanted to say hi..

I have just bought an SV650 in what seems so far hottest shape.
She is Black with full fairing although prob not Suzuki.

I wanted something different to the four pots I've been used to and lilies the charm of this bike.

It's had a few mods brake lines polished wheels bobbins and a titanium full system which drives me nuts and think I might even ditch if I don't get used to all the popping and banging on shutdown prob needs re jetting but we will se.

Overall I like the bike not my first but first for 18 months last bike was a ZZR in fact all of last 3 were ZZR CBR before that the Kwak 900 and lots before that.

Anyway this was to say hi and hope to be able to contribute in some small wal.

Thanks for reading

Yeah I know I'm getting there.. It's a hoot to ride so light and nimble. Previous owner did mods also changed rear shock for non oem and front springs ride is hard and needs setting up to be fair.

Didn't even consider SV until I viewed this one and that was it bought it there and then! The popping and banging I will get used to prob a cheap after market can and pipes I don't know always run stock items in the past. Think it's some thing like Akrapovic ? Don't comment on spelling I don't have a clue. Looks nice on the bike though I must say but next door were not happy when I fired her up at 7am this morning for a little run out .

Cheers for reply bud

Akrapovic aint cheap if that is what's on there. Especially a full system.

No big name on the side of the silencer titanium for sure will have to have a closer look at it. He had 4 Suzukis all his pride and joys all mint all same type of exhaust systems except hi TL1000 which I think was Japanese Yoshimura ???

If it's popping and banging that much, check the air hoses for splits and holes. It might pop n bang a bit but not majorly.

I had a black one like that, with polished wheels that had a high level link pipe to Scorpion can, Swingarm bobbins and black Hel brake lines. Was a very pretty SV. Only talking about it yesterday... Is it a W reg?

Happy riding B-)
