Best mods to do? Curvy

Can anyone reccomend some good mods for my 99 curvy? Its pretty much standard apart from a full ixil exhaust system, braided hoses all round, rear hugger and a hagon rear shock. Do K&N air filters run well with SV's? My last bike ran like crap with one, and can i get hold of a HID kit for curvys too?

I would assume if the shocks been done then the forks springs have also been done. It's worth a check and if so get some sticky tyres and have fun

For me the best free thing I did was drop the forks about 10mm quickens up the turn in nicely.

The best cheapish thing I did to the sv was change to a 46 tooth back sprocket when I got a new chain and sprocket set it gives the bike so much more drive out of the corners and you only loose a few mph at the top end.

Best expensive mod was a WP shock on the back and WP springs in the front. It transformed the bike completely the WP shock is also 10mm longer when fully extended, which once again improved the turn in.

Possibly springs for the front end. That's if they haven't been changed already anyway.

Apart from that, put petrol and ride it :D

Depends on your budget, if you're going to get a new filter and can then you need to budget for dyno set-up as well

oh oh I know, pick me, pick me!
The greatest upgrade I've done on any of my bikes, is the rider :D
#1 Advanced rider course or track practice with instructor(I went with the latter)
#2 Bike upgrades -
2.1 - Suspension/Brakes
2.2 - Ground clearance
2.3 - More bhp

rim tape and anodised bolts and levers ......... i'm joking, i'm really REALLY joking :)

Front suspension overhaul depending on IF it has every been done recently. Bike clean, tidy up, tighten up, and a service.
