Ohlins shock service - who & how much?

My SV passed its MOT the other week with 2 minors. The first being play in the suspension bushes and the second being a weeping shock absorber.

Now the bushes I can sort my self, will order a set of bearings from Wemoto and change them in the linkage, might even do the swing arm at the same time as I'll have to rig the bike up to remove the shock.

But the shock absorber, now that's a different question. I have a Ohlins unit on the bike and its served me well. But as its leaking I understand that this can be repaired and serviced at the same time. So who can do this, what does it include, and what will it cost?

I'd phone kais and k-tech. Both should be quite capable of rebuilding the shock and I've had positive experiences dealing with both.

We can do it. Complete strip down and replace all seals and x-rings (about 8 in total) re-hone the rod works out at £145 inc Vat. This is the full service which you would need, or i would recommend. Some places do a strip and clean and replace the main seal which works out a bit cheaper.

100% Suspension, Colin Leader always did a great job rebuilding and servicing for me.
