Higher bars or Higher seat? Naked Pointy.

Alright lads, I'm off to europe in less than a month and I'm gonna be doing some serious miles. But i've done a couple 100 mile motorway jaunts and found that i'm getting a bit of a numb bum/balls. I feel like i'm pushed right againts the tank at the moment, But i'm not sure whether its the seat (slopes forwarded slightly) so perhaps reupholstering it so its leveled out with some gel/foam or should I get some Renthal High Bars?

What you think?

Any experiences?

Gel seat, as you've got a naked I'd say the bars are high enough.

There is not a lot you can do to get rid of this, every trip I have done has always resulted in numb bum and squashed plums. It's just part of sitting on a bike for along time. Best thing I found was to walk around abit at petrol station after filling the bike up to get blood moving around and avoid boxers that have any seams in the area you sit as they add pressure points.

As an additional aid, you could always wear some cycling shorts, which are padded and maybe lower the pegs.

But as Chris says, stopping regularly is the answer.

With my gel seat I can do more than 100miles, but then you need to top up with fuel sometime

Do some 200 mile trips, then the 100 mile ones won't hurt.
Keep increasing the mileage.
Take some of your weight through your feet.
If all else fails:

I've been doing to reading and many have complained about the shape of the seat. As it pushes the rider forward into the tank, they seem to have fixed this by cutting some foam off the back of the seat and maybe add a gel insert at the front. This looks the way forward st the moment, anybody had any experience with such?

My curvy gel seat is different to the OEM one, it was done by Saxon Seats.

I don't crush my nads quite as much as with the OEM seat. But I was in so much discomfort from the OEM seat in my backside, I didn't really notice the pain in my tackle.
