Really interesting even if it isn't your thing:

What a difference some effort and know-how can make.

Subtle small bits on their own but the combined effect is quite dramatic! Makes a noticeable difference.

Judging from the condition of the Ducati before the clean I'd say the owner had done plenty of riding. It doesn't have to be one or the other you know...

Personally I like getting the polishing rags out. It gets me out of the madhouse for an hour or two and normally results in the wife having to come and get me because dinner is ready :)

I should clean my bike occasionally. To be fair, if (when?) I have a ducati, it will probably be kept very clean.

Thats exactly what i say everytime i get a new toy. I am going to keep this one mint...lo and behold after a month of ownership it looks decidedly second hand again :)

Never said I'd be doing the cleaning.

Aaah! But that means you need to factor in £50 for a guy to clean your bike or £200-£300 for a detailer to mint it.

I was planning on buying a new ducati when I make a mint selling my company. Aye, its not foolproof, but its a dream that keeps me going.
