Dog Bone Dilema (curvy)

Hi
Trying to lower the wifes 2001 sk1. I ordered these:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1211320364...84.m1497.l2649
so that I would get a 40mm drop. They are far to long. Overall length is 208mm and centres are 180mm.

At the moment she has standard dogbones fitted (marked 20F) 105mm centres.

Having done a search it seems that dog bone length of 125mm centres would lower it but can anyone please tell me by how much.

TIA
Mark

Reckon they've sent you pointy ones.

Re: Dog Bone Dilema (curvy) Help Needed!

Hi

I am trying to lower my wifes 2001 S. As you can see by my first post, I was sent some dog bones 180mm centres (to long, probably for a pointy) I then ordered from a different supplier some that would lower the bike by 25mm. These have 105mm centres (which is the standard size)

Could some one please tell me the correct length required to drop the rear of the bike by 25, 30 or 40mm.

I could then tell the supplier exactly what length I need, rather than them continuing to send me the wrong ones.

Thanks

Mark
