Resistor to correct LED indicator flash rate, what value?
Hi
As I'm sure you'll realise from my previous posts I'm a tad clueless regarding bike mechanics! I've purchased a clear rear brake/indicator unit for my 56plate sv650. The indicator is flashing too quickly. I know I need a resistor... I've got an old unit lying about (never used by me) and it has a resistor on it 10w 7.5ohm. I don't think this is working though. How do I know that will give me the correct flash rate? Will it? And if not can you recommend to me what would be the correct one to get please? Many thanks in advance for you help (again)! :) |

Maybe easier to fit and LED relay, just swap the standard one for one of these?

New led relay is the way to go! Just swap and not that expensive.
