LSL bar conversion removal, Pointy.
So made the decision to go back to the good ol' clipons on my K6.
Got the bar off, only to find that I can't get the socket over the steering stem nut as the base for the bar is risen slightly on the lover half, meaning I cannot get a good hold on the nut (see pics) http://i58.tinypic.com/2qbgcch.jpg http://i57.tinypic.com/2gwt2r6.jpg Before you ask I didn't put it on, was the previous owner! Any Ideas folks? |

Re: LSL bar conversion removal
Get a punch or chisel & hit the corner of the nut until it loosens

Another bodge option is to get a stilson wrench on the round top of the nut.

I use a headset spanner meant for cycles. Your local push bike shop will stock them.
