Sv650s breaking, how much would I get?
 

I think my engine is screwed but it's a ibis white half faired 99 reg with tail tidy scorpion exhaust. Anyone got rough ideas for how much I would get for breakin it? It's got obvious signs of wear but every thing but the engine is sweet as.

Probably not as much as you'd hope for, plus you'll be left with loads of nits that nobody wants.

Either stick another engine in it or sell it as is unless you have the room to store loads of bits

You should get a fair bit. I find selling spares pretty easy and the oddest items go for silly money. It is however effort. First you need to brake the bike and have a system for storing and organising the parts. Then there's the research to work out how much to sell each item for, pics to take and then the description etc... I reckon if you can get stuck in and stick at it you'll do ok...

Personally I think it's time to learn to do an engine rebuild and get it back on the road ;)

haha yeah i mean breaking it would be easy its just would it be worth the time. im debating taking the engine out anyways just to have a look first and see how bad it is. or i was debating trying to find another engine to put in. trouble is im only 19 with a part time job so i dont have alot of money to play with.
