Booking for Ixion @ Cadwell is open. Anyone else going?

They're crying out for novices as usual, so if anyone fancies doing a trackday for the first time, and can get a weekday or two off in early August, this is about as good a chance as you're ever going to get. Cheap, friendly and cracking fun at a great circuit.

Free (and friendly) instruction available for those who want it.

The instructors range from enthusiastic club racers to international road racer, though I can only think of one of the latter, and he seems to specialise in falling off ;)

It's a bit twee, but they're a good bunch, and at that price (for two days plus an evening session) it's a bargain.

It's a semi-private trackday - you don't have to be a subscriber to gatecrash, but it's not a public commercial trackday and attitudes have to be left at the gate.

Incidentally, I've got Snetterton booked for the Sunday and I'm toying with doing a day at Bedford Autodrome on the Saturday. That's if my body (and luck) is up to doing four trackdays back-to-back, anyway.

Both with NL, £129 each.
