Another Car Park Ticket Query
2 Attachment(s)
OMO
My wife got a ticket for parking outside her space. She had to do this as the person next to her was right on the edge and didn't want a dent on her car, which she has only had for a month. (This happened on her previous car within 2 weeks of taking ownership !) Attachment 14400 All other parking spaces were taken. As per attched she was at the end of the row of spaces so not having an impact on anyone else or blocking access. She had a valid ticket on display. The ticket was issued by a council warden, not a private company. Attachment 14401 We're going to appeal this. Do you think we have a valid grievance ?? Thanks |
Re: Another Car Park Ticket Query
Good luck, that is clearly a ridiculous ticket. Not sure how much you'll have with the council though. Obviously with them you have no option but to go down the formal channels and hope for the best. Doubt it's extreme enough to get your local news paper interested but maybe worth a try?
If I were in a naughty mood I'd perhaps suggest that she was taking a person who may or may not have limited mobility to the shops. |
Re: Another Car Park Ticket Query
This isn't something I would have ticketed for because, as you say, she's at the end of a row and causing no obstruction.
Fight it to the death. |
Re: Another Car Park Ticket Query
Appeal the ticket and then take it all the way up the chain if you have to, another silly council ticket

Re: Another Car Park Ticket Query
Its a jobsworth ticket. She was outside the line,so she did break the conditions, but as you stated the next car left no room to open the door for the "elderly/disabled" person in your car.Appeal it.
