Scottoiler fitting? K8.

Ok, the time has come to install a Scottoiler to the SK8. At 19k miles the original chain has had it. I always intended to install a Scottoiler when I replaced the chain and spockets.

The question is where to put the RMV?
Most people seem to put it under the pillion seat, the problem is that is the only place to carry the iPad!!(I requested that work got me a mini iPad purely because that is the only one that fits under the seat!

What are the options? Glued to the inside of the front fairing? Cable tied to the top of the left stanchion?
Does the HCR replace the RMV? I know they used to say not to fit the HCR under the number plate on an SV, but I cant seem to open the technical sheet to see if that has changed.

Any help here? (Not carrying the iPad is not an option)

My RMV is mounted to the left side of the rear sub frame on the top angled section (if that makes sense). I got 2 Scottoiler reservoir mounting sleeves for £3 and used 1 which is cable tied to the sub frame. I can access it and fill it with the pillion seat removed but it is not under the seat. I need to remove the left side panel for full access but that is rare.

I can't comment on the HCR. They are not essential for general use. I used to have one but in my case it wouldn't fit behind the number plate as I have a tail tidy and there was no room or the angle for it.

I have a 2000 Curvy S.

You could put it behind the panel under the riders seat, used to have mine there but found it a pain as you have to remove the panel for a level check, it's under the pillion seat now.

Half the problem is that I empty the reservoir inches course of a normal week. It has to be accessible.

Could you use a back pack for iPad. Might be a stupid question.

Mine is cable tied to the subframe just behind this panel. Can fill and check level without removing anything. The numbers are a bit obscured for the flow adjustment tho. It's about 30 degrees from horizontal, but seems to work just fine.

Mine was under the tail externally - mounted to the inside of the rear sets PO's handy work.
However I got fed up with it getting covered in crud, and you could see it. So it's now in the boot.

Thank you guys.
I'm either going to try fitting it inside of the rearset as I did my last one (but there is a slightly different arrangement here) or on the exhaust side of the number plate hanger (to avoid the worst of the crud).
If neither works too well then it will have to either be on the side of the rad (ugly) or inside the front left fairing horizontally. I see the RMV design has now changed to allow it to work horizontally.

Rucksack for the iPad it is.

Nothing worked as tidily as it did under the back seat.
