From the Develop screen how do I save the image I've just adjusted ???

No idea but similar apps tend to use export as the command.

What do you mean by "save"? changes are saved automagically as you make them (with full history to roll back if you think you did it better 10 minutes ago)
If you mean save as in export to a file then as John says you need to export it but to do that you revert to library view first.

I guess you've already tied lightroom into flickr so that you can publish to there quickly and easily? that is my main reason for liking lightroom. Very easy sync/sharing/posting.

Sorry if I've missed the point though, bat back another question and I'll try harder :)

Cheers Bret, and no I didn't know about the flickr thing... need to watch some tutorial on Lightroom me thinks :P
