heartrate monitor bracelet

following a rather close call recently I've been advised to avoid any unnecessary stress and the tachycardia that can come with it, I've been looking at these bluetooth bracelet things, they range from £20/30 to a couple of hundred, keep track of heartrate/ energy use with alarms and so on as well as pair with your mobile and provide logs and reports (also do the phone things as well).

just after a little feedback if anyone uses or has knowledge of them really ?

Cheers.

you know about my issues mark... I wear a heart rate monitor for whenever I play sport. although my one is a strap that goes around your chest that then sends a signal to a watch that comes with it that you wear. the brand I have and use is polar, who are the market leader in this sort of thing for sporting use (in my opinion, although I must say I haven't tried any others). they start at about £40 and go up to well over £100 and have more and more functions as they get more expensive.

well it would seen not then?, didn't fancy the cheapest so went mid-range; ordered a £50 one to give it a try anyhow.

Cheers Chris, yeah I looked at the chest strap ones and if it was just for sport or something I would consider it, but I need to wear it all the time so a wrist one seemed more convenient .

fair enough, it's just the chest strap ones are far more accurate than the wrist ones.

found this review of some http://uk.pcmag.com/activity-tracker...rs-for-fitness

Funnily saw the fitbitz in costco today at £50 or so.

If youre going fancy there are some smart watches getting in on the act such as moto 360 but very pricey. Take it easy rictus and hope it gets sorted out.
