Sv 650 project for somebody maybe?
 

I have a 2008 sv650 in black. Rental bars, twin headlights plus old headlight. Original exhaust plus scorpion slip on. Tyres still good. Bodywork no dents no rust very good condition to the eye. Now the bad stuff!!! It has a clear problem in the gearbox whining sounds? Clutch slipping and starter motor dead. No ignition as I used it for my sv1000 when I had a problem. The bike does start and does ride however but the battery is dead dead! The bike is in great shape to look at but needs a proper sv man to fix whatever issues lie inside the engine. I am just trying to get an idea what it's worth as it stands and if anybody has an offer that would persuade me to part with it. Many thanks Richard. Ok I guess I would be looking for no less than 700. Ah I also forgot to mention as I remember the mileage was over 8000 I think. I bought the bike new and I really got the dud. All problems were out of warranty and I have another bike now so it's wasted sitting there in the garage.

TBH that's a bit of a bargain at that mileage & year, and a dead battery isn't a big problem. Depends on what the other issues are?
