So I'm back on my bike :)

For those of you who knew me on my old account (lylej)
You might remember I had an Sv650k5 and upped to a Triumph Daytona 675.

After a few major offs on both bikes I decided to wrap up my riding and stuffed my 675 in the garage for almost 5 year, and the rider bug lay dormant as I decided if I would ride again, or just on the track or what, I didn't know..

Then bam! For no reason really the bug bit again, and the Bikes back, fixed and I feel like I was never off of it..albeit a bit more tender with the throttle these days.

Knew there was something missing now I've found it again.

I've dipped in and out-of the Org over the last couple of years, but I can't really say I know much about what's going on and who the movers and shakers are lol ;)

The Org was awesome back in the lylej account days I'm looking forward to returning as an active member and such :)

So hi everyone, I'm back :)

Lylej, rings a bell. How come you changed name/lost history?

Nice Daytona. Those mirrors turned in ready for a TD? :D

love for biking never leaves you, yes you may take a sabbatical but it will always be there waiting to break out. for various reasons i gave up for 20 years until i had a go on a 1996 ducati 750ss and that was me hooked again. jumped on, first gear and off i went. was like i had never been off them. heart pounding, adrenaline flowing, focus and speed. simply superb :-)

welcome back to the fold :-)

I concur. I sold my last bike in August 1981. Bought my current ride just two months ago. I knew something was missing in my life and finally, after decades, figured it out. I guess life and other priorities got in the way. Now, back in the saddle doing the twisty's, it seems I never left. And the Universe is balanced.
