Which Break pads, Front 650SVs, twin Tokico standard calipets.

Hi Guys, I'm gonna put some new pads on the front & poss a disc to, once I've confirmed the min thickness, (Haynes May inform). So with that in mind SV heads I would like your recommendations as to which type & manufacturer of pads to go for, & why? obviousley I don't mind paying a little more for long life & efficient performance. Some on eBay are cheap as chips, some dude on YouTube was cursing EBC? So all advise much appreciated... Oh & have a nice day yowl👍

Yep, most likely OEM discs

I have a question while we're on the subject of pads.
Which other bike model's pads will fit a curvy's front brakes? I'm hoping to pay as little as possible for decent pads by broadening my search.
Thank you

Cheap and decent do not normally go hand in hand, please don't take chances with cheap brakes it is the one part of your bike you should not skimp on.

I'm not looking for cheap, just the best possible price for decent pads. If somewhere charges £5 less for the same product then it makes sense to buy from them.

All SV650s have the same front calipers (from 99-15) and the 2002 Bandit 600 has the same front calipers (and possibly same rear as a curvy) see this page for all bikes for front calipers: http://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/moto...tent_prod/5552

So far I've used stock which seem okay for 10,000 miles but lack initial bite and seem to go off after 5000 miles unless you use them hard frequently enough to revive them and EBC HH which lasted 20,000 miles had better initial bite for 10,000 miles and then were like wood for the next 10,000 miles. I will be trying the DP pads in the thread linked by Mav next as Bibio seems to be getting on with them well.

Thanks very much for that nutsinatin! That's just what I was looking for! I know that some places hoik their prices up for things that fit certain models so I thought that if I could broaden my search then there might be better deals on pads that are being advertised for different bike's but that are intimately the same pads.

It's definitely looking like EBC HH will be the best bet
