YHJ Pillion Seat Cowl

I've been reading a lot but not really needed to post anything so far, my bike is K6 YHJ Candy Napolean Blue, I'm watching a couple of (painted) pillion seat cowls, how much variation is there in the colour across years etc or is it fairly safe to get a good match buying ready painted?

I'd have thought that if they've all been painted with the same paint code you should be fine. The only difference would be that older cowls may be (very slightly!) duller than newer ones due to the paint fading but I doubt that would be noticeable or just general wear and tear.
I had a cowl where the paint on the front was completely worn away because a rucksack had rubbed on it almost constantly

Good news, I was able to buy one with matching paint code and from the same year, I can't tell the difference in the colour, now to stop it being wobbly as others have described. . . the cowl lacks two supports that the pillion seat has for obvious load bearing duties. I've got my fingers crossed for the grab handle delete parts arriving in a separate delivery!

Would anyone be able to tell me the dimensions of the large washers/spacers?

I can state that they are: 19.92mm outer diameter. 8.6mm inner diameter. 8.6mm wide.
