Scottoiler/Loobman/Turturro Fitting Location

Hello all,

Im after some examples where you guys have fitted your auto oilers (Reservoir location in particular)

I have bought a loobman but struggling with the placement, it wont sit under the seat due to an alarm, I dont trust it around the back end (Suspension movement)

Any ideas? Needs to be in a spot with easy access for filling it up, and dont want it near heat for obvious reasons.

I would try and get the Loobman reservoir as near as possible to the delivery. I have had that system on two different bikes and had the reservoir on the rear nearside on footrest hanger and rear shock gas canister. ie nearby but not on the swingarm itself obviously. I did not try and fit one to the SV as I could not see anywhere immediately convenient so went with the Scottoiler which I have on the nearside pillion footrest hanger. i will have a look and see if I can find a place where I could have mounted the Loobman and report back. The Loobman reservoir does get oily on the outside in time so needs to be sited with that in mind too. You don't want it up near the handlebars. Better out the back somewhere you can reach the button from the saddle if possible.

I have a scotoiler mounted under the pillion seat of my K7, mounted to the subframe so that the tube is angled down towards the engine.

Just offered the Loobman reservoir up and I reckon it would work if you sited it on the nearside pillion footrest hanger against the rear spar with the base of the reservoir onto the top of the bungee hook. Might get kicked by a pillion but I think it would be OK. Food for thought anyway.

I had my Tutoro mounted behind the exhaust/pillion hanger, found it to be the perfect place for it.

On my new SV, that came with a Scotoiler & thats mounted under the pillion seat - you wouldnt be able to mount a Tutoro there though, not sure on a loobman.

Loobman has a "girthier" reservoir (Stop laughing :) )

Ill probably try under the left pillion hanger, but I'm finding it hard to imagine how easy it'll be to refill it.
