Mysterious pipe!
 

Looked at the bike this morning and noticed this little rogue pipe hanging over the exhaust, looks like it's coming from the water pump but not sure if and what it should be connected too. Anyone point me in the right direction?

From what I remember, it's an overflow / breather from the cooling system. It doesn't connect to anything at the dangly end :)

It's usually held by a clip which also secures the wire to the oil pressure switch, just by the oil filter, looks like the clip on your bike might have broken.
