God Damn
God Damn it's cold today on the bike.
That is all. |
Re: God Damn
Yeah, when I left the house at 4.30 I had to de-ice the seat! Even with 2 pairs of gloves my finger tips were stinging when I got to work!

Re: God Damn
Whimped out and drove the van to work fingers jammed in heater vents

Re: God Damn
left the house and got to work with cold finger tips but warm(ish) hands thanks to heated grips, yet the walk from my bike to the office... holy hell my hands froze.

Re: God Damn
Used the bike for the first time this year today as I had a hospital appointment. I don't mind paying to park. but object to queuing for an hour for the privilege of a space becoming available.
Some one once said something like there is never bad weather. Just bad clothing. So put on my thermals (Very sexy). ran the wires down the arms of the jacket. Two piece textiles, neck muff. thermal vest, pants/socks. Plugged in the gloves and had to stop after 2 miles. To turn the gloves down. I have a pair of Bike Tek gloves. not sexy, but damn efficient. On the way back, I didn't bother to plug them in. I keep thinking I should invest in their heated socks. but in todays tropical weather no need. Just thank your god it is nice and dry for a change. |
