Speedfight starting problem

Anyone know anything about Peugeot Speedfight 100?

Nephews steed has stopped starting. New carb was fitted recently, plug is OK, new battery this week, but it won't start. This originated before the new bits were fitted, so I don't think the muppet has put it together wrongly.

Has anyone a photo of how the carburettor should be connected? Is there a fuel pump? When I pulled the fuel hose off I got about a drip every 2 seconds, even when trying to start the beast.

IIRC mister c is our resident Speedfight expert - although I don't think his had much standard by the time he was finished. Might be worth a PM.

That doesn't sound like enough fuel, has it got a vacuum tap that's gone tits and is leaking back or letting air in?

Vacuum tap? It's the hard walled microbore tube I assume, like on a Scottoiler? Sadly the muppet broke the fuel line as I was trying to look at it so I stopped and told him to get a new fuel line then for him to stop breaking stuff.
