Squeaky tick over?

After the old girl has warmed up (99 sv650s) when its left to tick over theres a horrible squeaking noise, rev it and it goes away. Its kinda a high pitched squeaky noise and is almost louder than the engine and exhaust.

Anyone got any ideas what it could be please?

Cam chain tensioner blade?

I can't think of anything else that might cause this?

First thing I did :D

Hmmmm cam chain tensioner, that doesnt sound good! Best I get reading up on that I suppose. Poor old girl does get a hard life.... left in the garage most of the time then when she does stretch her legs its pretty much always a full bore blast including a few bouncing of the limiter gear changes. Never been in the position of being able to have a bike as a toy before :smt074

Been out for a 2 hour blast this morning and it didnt do it once. I like when problems solve themselves
Was toying with the idea of chopping the sv in for a dirt bike, but this mornings ride set me straight. Looks like I need both (cue the rather grumpy girlfriend ☺ ) maybe I'll just build myself a 160 big wheel pit bike on the sly, surely she'll never find out.

More than possible, headers and pipework have been off while I was sorting the twin zorst. Used new carbon gaskets for the front to collector and rear header to pipework so coulda been them.
