Non start

Battery died on me today completely.

Swapped out a battery I had bought for the bike previously.

Now the bike won't start ?

2007 SV650S. Checked the earth, starter, fuses etc.

Ignition comes on as normal, can hear fuel pressure build and when I press the button, lights go out but no cranking ?

Charging the battery now but any have any ideas ?

Anything I'm missing ?

You say you are "charging the battery now" so was it not charged when you put it in?The symptoms you describe suggest a flat battery or a loose connection between battery and starter.

I'd say we need more info before we can say with any certainty what the problem is. The battery that died - is it the original? Did you try charging it to see if it is dead or just flat? What is your pattern of usage of the bike?
