Replacing handlebars

after some advice/guidance

i have a suzuki sv650s k7, i am thinking about changing the standard handle bars and upgrading them with renthal bars.

im wondering what the benefits would be of doing this?

i have been looking at the bars and they come in ultra low, medium or high bars, any ideas which would be better?

and also the riser comes with different ride size either 40mm, 54mm or 64mm
any advice on which is best to get and why?

any advice is appreciated as i am a little in the dark about this

Re: Replacing handlebars

An unusual question. Most people change bars for a reason which is usually comfort related but you seem to be looking for a reason. If comfort is why you want to change them it is hard to advise you what would be "best" for you.

You are limited to an extent by your fairing and you will need a top yoke from a naked bike.
There are kits: https://www.topyokes.uk/product/suzuki-sv-650s/

and a more expensive option:

You will probably need new cables and/or hydraulic lines depending on how high you're going.

Here's a link to someone that's done it:
