She was the German racing driver and part time host of Top Gear; she has passed away at the age of 51 (cancer).

Very sad news, my FB feed was full of it yesterday. So young to die from cancer :(

I remember the Transit vs Jag episode of Top Gear, loved how she almost beat the Jag's time first go. A trip around the 'Ring in her taxi would have been awesome.

She was the queen of the BMW ring taxi. She fought a tough battle against cancer.
