Stock undertray

Hi Guys, recently got my first sv (naked pointy version)

The bikes pretty much completely standard including the large plastic under tray.

Im going to knock up a small number plate bracket from some sheet ally but im also wondering is there anything i can do to the stock plastic under tray to make it less bulky?

or do i need to buy a grp replacment from somewhere?

i dont get the obsession with removing something that serves a purpose like ermm keeping the shizz off your back. suppose fuglyness is in the eye of the beholder.
