One fork shorter than the other.......?

Well folks. I took off my forks the other day and have measured to replace seals and dust seals, took every part and out and put all back in the same way I took them out and referend to service manual to ensure was the same yet the left fork is approximately 1-1.5 inch shorter than the right....so my question is WTF? cheers

sounds like you forgot the spring spacer in the left leg.

Damn good guess thanks working perfect now.....realised last night after was waking around the bike and stood on the spacer ��
