Hi/Race-mount link pipe ID

Spotted this old SV for sale, and it appears to have a link pipe I've not seen before. the end can is obviously scorpion, but I'm not aware they ever offered anything like this. Lacks the (IMO) excessive unnatural looking bends of what Delkevic etc offer.

Anyone know what it might be? I've asked the seller and he has no idea (was there when he bought it).

No idea on the link pipe but there's a lack of support for the end can.

Could be Micron header pipes?

My Curvy had its exhaust positioned that way, when I changed the headers to Micron ones, and the link pipe swept it up
