1999 Curvy SV650S with a lot of extras
 

I'm finally selling my SV which has been mine since it was 9 months old. In that time I've toured on it and done trackdays, so it's got some stories to tell. It's also received quite a lot of attention over the years:

Engine:

• stage 2 cams, these have been the source of a number of questions on track days
• K5 heads which I am told were ported
• full stainless Akrapovic exhaust with titanium can, repackable and always gets 98dB at noise testing but is bowel-looseningly deep
• Quill road legal can as the Akro is a bit duffed up after an off at Park Bend
• K&N filter in the stock airbox
• Dynojet kit and dyno set up by PDQ in Maidenhead
• JHS ignition advance (4 degrees) giving phat bottom end torque

Chassis:

• Ohlins rear shock with remote reservoir. This is just amazing.
• Progressive fork springs
• Preload adjuster fork tops added as they weren't standard back then
• Racetech Gold emulators
• Goodridge brake hoses
• Jack-up plates instead of rearsets
• Goodridge pressure switch for rear brake because of the above
• Motosliders crash bungs and swingarm bobbins

Bodywork etc:

• Fabbri double bubble screen
• Belly pan by Free Street Design in Paris, my bike featured on their website for a while
• Shiny levers
• Electrex R/R
• 12V socket under the seat
• Recent new battery
• Complete set of front end plastics with stock screen, ready scuffed and covered in stickers, used for track days

I'm in Doncaster, drop me a line with your questions. It's got 53k miles on and is running just fine, not really sure about price but given all the above I'm going to start off at £1750 and see how it goes.
