New Flat Tyre Repair option ( Rubber Screws )
I thought I'd post this at it seems interesting. I 've sent for some and hopefully will never have to use them. I have the old type sticky-rope repair kit under my rear seat. I would use some rubber cement on one of these screws just in case.
Good enough to get home methinks :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nSfFkE6IG-Q |

I'd be interested to know how well that holds once you start driving on it, and the squidgy tyre rubber starts moving around that solid screw.

Being a ,"Belt and Braces " guy I think I'd add a bit anyway as I wouldn't know how old or good the supplied bit was before use. I have several tubes of rubber cement that come with cheap bicycle inner tube repair kits :) |
