Is the SV your only form of transport?

Just wondering... I am lucky enuff to have a car too (and access to my girls when I break mine!), but how many people rely solely on the old SV??

car and the bike, nova sri(i can feel the boyracer comments already  ) and the svs

Heheheh I read about your Nova elsewhere gaz... you don't go down Strathy park n do burnouts do u?!?

Only kidding... I still got a bit of the boy racer in me at 26 (lightly breathed on Pug 306 XSi 16 valve jobby) but only coz I can't quite afford my Supra TT or Skyline GTR just yet - maybe next year...

the SV is one of six bikes I own , however,
one is beyond repair
one with no engine ( in bits awaiting build)
one historic relic ( 88 gsxr "L" frame) hasn't moved in years
ones a dirt bike ( not road legel)
then the CB750 as the winter hack
and of course the SV.

If I'm not on two wheels , I'm not mobile.

The wifes got a car i can use if I need to move stuff.

Cheers Mark.

not any more ronnus, used to when i was 17 but kinda grew out of it now, i still like hi performance cars but the bike is my main priority since it will blow away mr porsche from the lights and i can still afford the petrol and insurance :D

Although I have a car (Vectra SRi 2.2) it can goes weeks without use as I'm always on the SV... The wife also has a car (Escort GTi) but she sometimes prefers mine for longer jouurnies (mother in law etc).

The SV has become my main source of getting to work. My office is in East London, but we have others in West London, Manchester, Slough & Brighton, and I have done them all on the SV. In fact, since commuting on the bike, the only days I have used the train are 3 days in the Winter when it was icy. I am contemplating doeing the European offices on the bike next year

Also my son will find any excuse for me to take him somewhere on the bike. He does love it on the rare occasisions I get the chance to pick him up from school.... I give him his jacket, helmet & boots and we ride off leaving his mates playing on their BMX's 8) He loves it :)

SV for fun

SV is for fun socialising etc........
The car is for doing the mundane mileage of going to work on shifts the sv does get the odd visit to work so far in the last 6months on the sv I've done about 4000miles of socialising/fun.
Also have access to a ZX6R............

I have an SVS, a Vauxhall Ashtray SRi, A Raleigh Mountain bikes, a microscooter thing, a skateboard, and several means of public transport to get to work in the evenet of none of them working :)

I have my svs, me old zx10 and me car, but the car barely turns a wheel from March to October. Gave up winter biking years ago, so the car will be dragged back out for that.

Guilty and greedy

Porsche Boxster S, K3SV Silver for me, K3SV Blue for missus, dog/shopping moving needs a tanker behind it so it can get up the drive 4x4 (her choice).

Lucky, lucky me, git etc <insert abuse of choice>. But since I only passed DAS few weeks back we're havnt a blast. Once the buggers are run in
