Is the SV your first PTW?

Just curious to find out how many people jumped on the SV(S) as thier first PTW.

For me its my second, I bought an RS125 after my CBT, used for commuting and general tarting about for about 8 months but found the lack of power and the constant whine on motorways and longer rides to be frustrating.

I had been eyeing up the SVS for a while and had intended to get one straight after DAS, but due to finances I had to wait, glad I did because of the reduced price deal. :)

So Was your SV(S) your first PTW? What did you have as your first bike?

PTW? Proper two wheeler? if so, then yeah. Would've stuck with my 125 for longer if it hadn't turned out to be a bag of sh**e, so i sped things up and got the SV. Seems to be a popular choice for it as well. (which is why there's so many nice used ones!)

I started on an NSR 125, then an RGV 250 (still have it, it's a beast  shall keep it till I die!) and am currently fixing up my old gs500e to be sold.
Now also a copper K3 owner.

Hey an ER5 ain't so bad, can chew off most cars, nice predictable handling, feels solid, very stable. I learned on one, thought about buying one, but then I saw a SV650S and well the rest is history (blue K3)
