OH BUGGER !!!

The GSXR and me parted company on a roundabout this morning, thanks to a manhole cover.... Bike is badly scratched but the R&G stuff did a great job. The can protecter did just that, and the crash bung, although bent from impact with the kerb, saved the bodywork from any cracks. The lovely F.Fabbri screen is in about 20 bits, and I've lost a mirror and an indicator.

My fault, I thought I was being hussled by another Gixer so was on the boil a bit, although I didn't do anything wrong, apart from not notice the manhole cover. Ironically the "other Gixer" turned out to be Nick and he was trying to say hello... I feel like a bit of :toss: right now... Still, that's my competitive nature, no doubt it will drop me in again in the future.

I've scratched my Arai JR replica lid which I'm really ****ed off about so 'm going for a soak in a hot bath as my shoulder aches like hell....

If I can get a screen and a mirror I may still make it out tonight...

Damm dam dam at least your ok steve :( :( :( :(

Steve

Glad to hear you're OK. How ironic, binning it to get away from your mate when all he's trying to do is say "hello".

I always look on this kind of thing as a gentle reminder that things just aren't as grippy out there for the next 7-8 months. Just as well you 'got away with it' rather than it happening at speed.

Maybe see you tonight on my way through to Covent Garden, where I'm singing later.

Steve, that's a real bummer. Really sorry to hear this, so glad you're okay.

Depends on what sort of deal you can do me

The R&G's seemed to have stopped any major bodywork damage, just scuffs & scratches, all levers in tact too...
